About the edition: La Fazienda de Ultra Mar is an early 13th century Spanish manuscript. It comprises part Holy Land Itinerary and part Biblical translation. It concludes with a collection of Biblical citations in the Adversus Iudaeos tradition.
Aim of the digital edition: The citations repeat passages that appear in the main body of the text. The aim of the project was to compare two versions of the same Biblical passage, highlighting and identifying the differences to produce a profile of the characteristics of a particular scribe. My intention is to measure the impact of an individual scribe on the overall language of the text .
