Katy Mortimer
I am currently studying for an M.A. in Medieval and Renaissance History at Queen Mary, University of London. I specialise in the relationship between Latin Christians and Muslims across the Mediterranean. I am particularly interested in questions of representation within Latin Christian documents, and for my dissertation I am researching the relationship between crusaders and Near-Eastern Muslims.
My DEMM project involves editing a letter sent by Anselm of Ribemont to Archbishop Manasses II of Reims from Antioch c. July 1098, based on two twelfth-century copies.
