Kristýna Strnadová

I am an M.A. student in History and Latin Medieval Studies at Charles University, Prague. I specialise in Medieval History, and am primarily interested in the politics of the Holy Roman Empire and in the high medieval Church. My BA thesis explored Adalbert III, Archbishop of Salzburg. I spent one semester at Innsbruck University in Austria, where I also worked with medieval charters and manuscripts. My favourite free time activities are reading, hiking and cooking.

Within the DEMM project, I will edit am unedited text Exhortatio ad canonicos regulares,  preserved in an MS in National Library in Prague (III D 16, fols. 334rb–336rb), which was written in Bohemia between 1410-1450. Although this is so far the only known manuscript, its reading will be compared to the reading of its (several) sources.
