Zsolt Simon

bioI’m currently a first-year M.A. student in Rennaisance Studies at the Eötvös Loránd University of Budapest. My main areas of interest are databases concerning large literary corpora, the markup of the data, and the interchange of data and metadata between other databases. I’m working on the databases for the history of reading and the collection of books in the Carpathian basin, between the 16th and 17th century, and the database of hungarian poems in the 17th century.

At the DEMM programme my main focus will be on the methods of describing medieval literary texts in a way that they could be linked together through metadata.
